Long Form blog post

TechGuides.gr

Summary: The profession of a technical writer is relatively lesser-known in the tech industry and in general, especially in Greece. After noticing that there wasn’t a single article available online written in Greek that thoroughly described what technical writing is and what a technical writer does, I decided to write one.

This article provides a definition of technical writing and outlines the skills, challenges, and steps to becoming a technical writer.

Short Form blog post

Queen.gr

Summary: This was a website article I contributed to during the pandemic—a challenging time for me, as it was for the whole world. It was also a period when I was exploring my path into writing blog posts for websites.

The article focused on finding ways to shift a negative mindset into more productive perspectives, drawing from my personal experiences as both a professional a blogger exploring ways to ‘hack’ eudaimonia—the pursuit of well-being. During that time, being productive was particularly difficult for me, making this article somewhat a reflection of my own journey through those challenges.

The Eudemonia (Personal blog alert!)

Summary: In 2016, after facing a health issue, I redefined some of my habits and made significant changes, such as committing to regular exercise. Around that time, I also began cooking more frequently, and since writing has always been a core part of who I am, starting a blog felt like a natural next step. So, I launched my personal blog on WordPress, and since then, I’ve been updating it with recipes, interviews, and articles. You can also check out its social media account.

The blog covers a variety of topics, including life, food, sustainability, exercise, personal development, and creativity. I do not have much time to update as often as I can, and when I get back to it, I surely find lots of things I would have written or done differently. But it’s a space I absolutely love as it is, because for me, it’s like a virtual ‘home.’

Looking back, I can say it’s been a journey I’m incredibly grateful for. Creativity in one area of life fuels every other part as well, and it also leads to discovering new things about yourself and developing new skills.

Skills I gained throughout the blogging journey: content strategy, social media management, SEO copy, marketing-related writing, communication, content management, and WordPress are just a few of the skills I’ve developed. Most importantly, I honed my communication skills through engaging with incredible people and creators—some of whom I had the honor of interviewing for the “Eu Talks” section of the website.
